o Massage Therapy business cards

Here are some tips to keep in mind when ordering business cards:

Use a logo
If you provide products or services that can be represented with a symbol (for example dentistry, massage therapy, dog grooming, etc), the logo should symbolize that product or service in some way. Sharper™ has a wide variety of logos that you can use free of charge when ordering business cards. If you already have a company logo, we can print it on your cards for a small fee of $45, regardless of quantity of business cards ordered.

Utilize the back of your business cards
Don’t lose out on advertising space! You can include things such as a short listing of services, mission statement, hours of operations, or anything else that will help your patients or clients remember your practice or business.

Make your card readable
Use font sizes that are big enough to be easily readable without using a magnifying glass. Be sure the type color stands out against the background of the card, too. Light gray type on a white card makes it hard to distinguish letters and numbers.

Stand out from the rest of the pack
Yes, your business card may wind up stuffed in a desk drawer with a stack of other cards. Make it stand out from the rest by using designs with full color.

Have your business cards printed on good card-stock
Sharper™ full color business cards are printed on premium matte 100 lb stock.

Okay… Entice Me

In today’s world, it’s all about how to make a dollar seem like ten. Who out there doesn’t scour the coupon books and flyers to see how much could be saved? Even if you don’t scour the pages, the moment you see the words FREE or SAVE, you look; admit it, you can’t help but look.

So what better way to get patients and clients to walk in your door, or ensure customer loyalty, than with gift certificates. Let them know you appreciate their business – actually, let me rephrase that – you appreciate the relationship you have or are about to build. Business is secondary, personalized attention in primary; that’s what makes people come back for more.

There are a variety of ways to layout the inside of your gift certificate:

Pre-printed Gift Certificate Gift Certificate Expires Custom Layout

Sharper gift certificates even come with slits to hold anything from massage therapy business cards, chiropractic business cards, to grooming appointment cards; or have you thought about a “Refer a Friend” card? Or maybe a buy or visit x-number of times get something free card; a coupon card, a calendar card, I could go on. The opportunity is there… so entice me.

add a business card

Even if you don’t use the slits to actually hold anything, it doesn’t mean you have to leave an empty space. Ask us to print your logo, your name/address – whatever you want between the slits.

You may even find a matching product to go with your gift certificate; go ahead, click the images and see for yourself.

What your dental stationery should say (without REALLY stating it):

“We have really got it together and can get the job done.”
Of course, the exact message you want to send will vary, but there are some constants that you want to convey. No matter what your specialty is, you want your dental stationery to deliver the message that you provide a quality, reliable service and truly care for your patients well-being. When everything from your dental business cards to your letterhead and your envelopes includes the same design elements, you subtly establish your practice as truly professional.

Logos and Brand Image:

Branding involves more than just putting your logo on everything. Every design element of every piece of stationery should coordinate to present a polished image that is unmistakably your own. Every time a patient sees a piece of paper from your office, they should immediately recognize that it came from your practice. That is what branding is all about — creating an impression and then making certain you reaffirm that impression once the patient walks in your door.

That means that all of your dental stationery, from dental business cards to letterhead, should carry common design elements that work together to strengthen your dental practice marketing goals. You should keep colors, fonts, sizes and typefaces consistent across all of your communications.

Check out our Personalization Made Easy page to check out all the different ways we can help you strengthen your image and increase the effectiveness of your communications.

Regular massages are a must for those of us who work on a computer every day, and I always feel so much better after a session of massage therapy. I think it’s partly those positive feelings that add to how much I enjoy designing products for massage therapy professionals, with beautiful and natural imagery and shapes. It’s a real treat and I feel relaxed just putting them together!

Sharper carries an extensive line of massage therapy postcards as well as massage therapy business cards. You can even coordinate your image in most cases, with matching products.

“ I’m the only one that gets compliments on my cards in business card swap or among colleges, never had a mistake, very professional service and fresh ink!”

As the saying goes, “‘Tis better to give than to receive“.

This is true for sending your patients/clients home with personalized gift certificates. Personalized gift certificates are not just a holiday thing. Other uses for gift certificates include;

• Birthdays
• Celebrations
• Referrals
• A simple thank-you

Our personalized gift certificates are perfect for printing anything you want on the inside. You can use them for a specific event (i.e. Moving Announcement, Clearance Sale) or you can leave blank spots where you can fill in the specific dollar amount and specific service/product that is being gifted.

The best part of our personalized gift certificates is they all come with die-cuts that allow you to easily insert your custom business cards or perhaps one of our magnetic business cards.

Just remember, that by giving back to your patients, you will receive in return. The more you give, the more they will give back by referring new clients to you and trying other services you. Guess we could even call them ‘Give Certificates’ rather than ‘Gift Certificates’.

Here’s one of my favorite gift certificate designs:

Branding your dental practice through personalized communication and promotional products can be very simple. Strong branding will keep patients and clients coming back.  There are three simple steps that every dental practice can take to get you on the road to branding success:

  1. Ask yourself what sets you apart from other practices. What image do you want to portray to the community? What message do you want to emphasize?
  2. Support this answer by choosing your communication and advertising products carefully so that it accurately reflects this.
  3. Understand that branding success takes time. Come up with a plan. Order what you will need in advance. (frequency and consistency are the key). Keep it going with everything that you send out to patients or clients throughout the year. Your community will get to know you better. They will recognize your message in a glance because of visual impact. Taking the time to work your brand is well worth the investment.

With Sharper Products, you can choose dental business cards or orthodontic business cards, personalized reminder cardsbusiness greeting cards, reusable tote bags, and dental peel and stick appointment cards, that portray a professional image through the use of coordinated designs.

Business cards are an important tool for any chiropractic office.  Much like the impression people form about others they meet, your business card is often a strong influencer over the impression people form about your practice.  Some important questions to ask yourself about your current business cards are:

  1. Do your chiropractic business cards accurately reflect the tone of your practice?
  2. What impression do the cards you’re using give to your patients?
  3. When is the last time you refreshed the look of your chiropractic business cards?

Many practices invest a lot of money into their chiropractic marketing efforts.  They may spend large amounts of money to ensure they are located in top-notch neighborhoods, attend expensive seminars and/or advertise using direct mail, print, or multimedia.  Using a poor or out of date business card can undermine these expensive and carefully executed efforts.

Go ahead and pull out your business card right now and think about the impression patients will get when they hold your card in their hands.  Now it’s time to ask yourself….

Is it time to update your chiropractic business cards?

Maps… what an amazing tool. If you’re anything like me where North is South and East is West, you need someone to point you in the right direction.

If you’re planning on moving, wouldn’t it be nice to show people where you’re moving to? There’s a great selection of business moving announcement cards available with free messages to boot! If you don’t see a message quite to your liking, then why not write your own? Only you can be you and maybe you have that certain “style” you want to show through your message.

What about your custom business cards? I know how much you’ve been thinking, “I hate this big empty space on the back. I need to fill it with something.” Why not fill it with a map?

compassWhen you send us your map, you can either hand sketch it and fax/email it in, or many people supply a screenshot of an online map source (such as Google or MapQuest). All you need to do is keep it simple; highlight the streets that are important to you and need to have included. Landmarks are a great way to let people know that they’re in the right area. We can even print one of those directional compass things with your map; that way the navigator can tell the driver “Honey, the map says North’s behind us – turn around.”

So give it a try, maybe fewer people will get lost on the way to your office or clinic – okay, I’m sure the GPS told me to turn left…

Create your own marketing network with Sharper™ business cards. Referrals are an effective and low-cost way to grow your practice or business. Make it easy for your patients or clients to recommend you to colleagues, friends, and family by supplying them with several of your massage therapy business cards after each appointment.

Utilize the back of your massage therapy business cards to help achieve your goals:

1) Obtain new patients or clients

  • Include an unique selling proposition or special offer. Communicating these benefits will help you stand out and drive new business.
  • Incorporate a referral program by encouraging your existing patients or clients to pass your massage therapy business card to friends and family.

2) Encourage existing patients or clients to come back more often

  • Include an appointment format that lists several different appointments for the future. Not only does this help you anticipate your workload, but it also demonstrates to your patient or client that you want to be involved in their success to achieving  long-term health and wellness.
  • Incorporate a loyalty program by rewarding patients or clients when they reach a certain number of visits.

3) Up sell on your services

  • Initially, use your massage therapy business cards to offer free upgrades to more expensive services, or discounts on products. You could send these out in a welcome letter, or with a newsletter. Once they have experienced these upgrades, they will likely pay more and get that treatment again next time.

How do you currently market your veterinary clinic?  The days have long passed since the old saying, “If you build it, they will come” was a viable marketing strategy.  The truth is, even if you have the best facilities, best location and best staff, if people don’t know where you are and what you offer, they will never walk through your front door.

Some basic essentials that should be a part of any veterinary marketing program are:

  1. Veterinary business cards - Hand them out often and to as many people as you can.  You never know who your next potential pet owner client will be.
  2. Veterinary calendars – Print your contact information on the calendars and it will stay visible year round in the homes of pet owners.
  3. Veterinary tote bags – When people leave your clinic with pet supplies, medication or merchandise give them a reusable tote bag with your clinic’s name address and phone number printed on the outside.

These marketing tools are effective, inexpensive and easy to use.

Most professionals keep business cards on hand at all times in the same way practices and businesses have them available with the receptionist or in an area frequented by patients or clients. We’ve all used business cards since the get-go and we tend to forget the advantages of this mainstay marketing tool.

Ask yourself 3 questions about your current business cards:

  1. What is the purpose?
  2. Why did I chose this design, format, or iinformation?
  3. How can I improve by business cards to achieve my objectives more effectively?

To help you answer question #3, I’ve listed a few ways Sharper can help you maximize the use of your business cards.

Stand out from the competition.
  • Try our dental business cards in a die cut fomat like a tooth or dental floss. Create custom business cards by working with our talented team of graphic designers to establish a unique look. Both are great ways to stand out from the competition and be top of mind when patients are looking to book that next appointment.
  • Add a custom message listing your services, mission statement, hours of operation or anything to set your practice or business apart. Anything you can list that is unique, instantly sets you apart from the rest. A custom message can be added to your business card for $35, regardless of quantity.
Increase patient or client loyalty and keep them coming back.
  • To increase your staying power and be an easy point of reference for booking return appointments, try handing out magnetic business cards to new patients or clients. The staying power will boost your loyalty rates as your magnetic business card stays in the trusty spot on the fridge or office cabinet for future bookings.

Give as a notice of a scheduled follow-up and reduce missed appointments.

  • Print an appointment reminder on the back of your business cards. Your patients or clients are less likely to misplace or forget their next appointment with a professional appointment reminder on the back of your business card. For $35 you can select your choice of appointment reminder to print on the back of your business cards.

I can still remember my first appointment with my orthodontist. I remember being terrified, not knowing what to expect and scowling at my parents for thinking they tricked me into this. Walking into the office, I remember holding back tears and preparing myself for the worst.

When I entered, it was a different story. I saw drawings posted on the wall, a huge pile of toys in the corner of the room, and a tall, wide-grinned woman behind a counter, holding a book and a big box of crayons. When I was called in to meet the doctor, he shook my hand and starting asking me questions about school, boys and my favorite movies. He explained each tool to me before we began and assured me that I was going to be alright. After my appointment was over they gave me one of their dental tote bags with a welcome card, dental floss, a toothbrush and a bunch of stickers. After that, I wasn’t too worried to have to return to be fitted for a retainer.

With many orthodontic patients being children, marketing tools with a personal touch can make all the difference in the world. When choosing your orthodontic cards, whether it be orthodontic recall cards, orthodontic birthday cards and even your orthodontic business cards try to have an aspect of fun with positive imagery and messaging for your patients. When their treatment is finished, remember to congratulate them on their new smile! It will make a word of difference to them while parents will appreciate your attention to detail. And that can only be a good thing when it comes to patient loyalty and new referrals!

Did you know that it costs five times more to acquire a new patient than to keep an existing one? That’s why it’s crucial to nurture relationships through proper communication. Below are three essentials all businesses and practices must keep in mind when building long-term loyalty:

  1. Commemorate occasions
    -Welcome
    -Birthday
    -Thank You
    -Thanksgiving/Holiday
    -Sympathy
    -Congratulations
    -Get Well
  2. Maintain activity
-Reminder – Remind patients or clients of an upcoming appointment
-Recall - Remind patients or clients to schedule an appointment
-Missed Appointment – Remind patients or clients to reschedule an appointment
-Reactivation – Send a card to inactive patients or clients to remind them of your services
  3. Increase visibility with client giveaways
    -Business Cards
    -Plastic Supply Bags
    -Magnetic Business Cards
    -Personalized Toothbrushes

Relocation is a common decision for many practices and businesses. Whatever the reason, your efforts in communicating this change to your patients and clients should be well thought out in order to ensure no patient or client gets left behind.

Here are some tips to ensure you have a successful move!

  • Two months out from your expected moving date, start telling your patients and clients that you are moving.
  • Place a plaque with a custom message announcing your move at your reception desk. Make sure you state the month of the move if you don’t yet have the actual moving date.
  • Have magnetic business cards and new appointment cards made up with the new address. As your office staff schedules the patient’s or client’s next appointment, use the new cards. A magnetic business card makes sure your new address is always kept easily visible and never misplaced! When you order the appointment cards and magnetic business cards, go ahead and have your new stationary, business cards, appointment reminder postcards, reusable tote bags and other products done, too. Make sure all of your communication and promotional products are up to date!
  • Two weeks prior to the move, send out a mass mailing of business moving announcement cards to your patients or clients announcing your relocation and giving the date you will be in your new offices.
  • Change the message on your voice mail to mention the upcoming move, giving the date and new location.

A relocation always has its stressful times, but you can make it easier on yourself and your patients or clients by having a relocation plan in place for all of your marketing communications!

My dentist runs a very successful practice so while visiting recently, I asked him what his greatest business challenge was.  Like many practices, he indicated dental patient acquisition so we started talking about the techniques he uses with his front office staff and patients to encourage referrals.

Listed below are his easy (and cost-affordable) ideas which may help your dental patient acquisition program:

- Train staff to openly ask patients for referrals
- Send personalized business thank you and welcome cards
- Reward patients that send referrals to your practice – a movie pass or gift card to Starbucks
- Make it easier for patients to refer your practice with a personalized practice brochure or custom business cards
- Post a couple of wall art signs in the office that reminds patients your office welcomes referrals

My dentist says these ideas work great for him - and considering how busy his practice is (and his luxury Lexus in the parking lot), I believe him!
